Welcome to Bella's Minis!

Although I have always had a fascination with miniature things, I've discovered my love of dollhouse miniature creation when my daughter needed help with one of her high school projects. Her group had to create a miniature scale house and she had asked me for help. At the time I didn't know the first thing about making miniatures but I was willing to learn. We had a (somewhat successful) family furniture making session and that evening we spent some time watching other people make things on youtube. Long story short, I binge-watched people making tiny houses for 8 hours the next day and needless to say, I was hooked.

The joys of limitless powers of creation

The beautiful thing about making miniatures is that you can create anything. Any style, scale, time period, indoor, outdoor, magical, logical, fantastical creation that comes to mind can most probably be made. I love following other miniature artists and seeing their creations because sometimes even though we can make the same objects, we make them differently. I may not be a huge fan of making massive Victorian style homes, but I appreciate looking at them.
